Problem

A fast growing e-commerce company was looking to expand to the North American market but did not want to invest capital in building a distribution capability.

Sensitive to the unpredictable demand spikes in the building industry, the company also wanted a flexible fulfillment solution that would keep its distribution costs variable and in line with actual space and labor requirements.

Solution

Amware’s nationwide warehouse network allowed the company to expand its infrastructure as it grew, yet pay only for the space and services used in a given month. The project began in Amware’s Atlanta warehouse and has grown to Amware fulfillment centers in New Jersey and Phoenix, Arizona.

Result

Amware’s network allowed for a quick and seamless expansion into new markets. Over a five-year period, orders have grown from 5 orders/day in 5,000 sq. ft. of space to hundreds of orders/day in 250,000 sq. ft. of space.

Sales growth has not once been restricted by fulfillment capacity.
